On the lead up to Brian O'Driscoll's final game for Ireland (Six Nations winning game v France) I did an illustration celebrating various stages of the great man's career. From left to right, playing for Leinster, playing in the oversized Ireland jersey scoring his hat-trick v France in 2001, his blonde hair days, lifting the trophy as Grand Slam winning captain, the famous number 13 on his back, wearing the head bandage in games in 2013 and wearing the red of the British and Irish Lions. This was by far the most popular illustration I produced and just had a total of 20 limited edition A3 posters printed, all of which sold out in a couple of hours. This week BOD plays his last game for Leinster, keep an eye out as I will have an illustration to celebrate that event also.

Big supporter of Barcelona and did a caricature of Carles Puyol who recently announced he was leaving the club after years of service at the Camp Nou. He may not have been the best centre back (originally started out as a winger) but he had the heart of a lion and Barcelona have found it difficult to replace him. Great servant and won everything there was to be won too. |
